The maximum travel reimbursement depends on the distance band for your journey to Edinburgh. The locations below are examples for each band.

| 181–250 miles — Manchester, Leeds, York, Sheffield, Liverpool, Belfast | £50 |
| 251+ miles — London, Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Southampton | £60 |
Travel within 30 miles, including local journeys from Edinburgh and Musselburgh, is not eligible for reimbursement.
