We want people to be able to use the HackTheBurgh website regardless of their device, input method or access needs. We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit.
What the website supports
The website is built with:
- semantic headings, landmarks, lists, tables and form controls;
- keyboard navigation, visible focus styles and a skip link;
- labels, instructions and text error messages for forms;
- layouts that adapt to narrow screens and text resizing; and
- reduced motion preferences.
Forms show errors in text, and enhanced form updates move keyboard focus to the relevant message, heading or newly added field.
Known limitations
Some third-party pages linked from this site, such as sponsor and sign-in provider websites, are outside our control. Uploaded CVs and other documents supplied by participants may not have been created as accessible documents.
